'Nice but very basic room. Night stands would be very useful. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy and most of the amenities are clean. Just wondering why half of the shower stalls were closed.'

'Unit was clean but very dated and needs a complete overhaul. Staff were sick so never saw anyone. A instruction manual for the television would be a help as I could not get it to work and there was a program I specifically wanted to see. Other clients also could not get there tv to go. Heater was very efficient and shower was good but don’t turn tap on in kitchen while someone is in the shower. '

'Great spot . Cabin we stayed in could do with an insect screen on one window at least to keep sandflys out and allow some ventilation.
Also not enough toilet/ show facilities for size of camp . Accomodation there has grown but the facilities have not . '

'For what this is (a cabin in a campervan park), it was excellent. The cabin was private, clean, and quiet. There's obviously no view and the amenities are all shared (shared bathroom/toilets/showers, shared communal area) but everything was in pretty good/decent shape. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel but it's not pretending to be that. For the value and what you pay for (and for just one night where you're getting in fairly late and leaving somewhat early), it's excellent. '

'From the start, the communication with Liz was very prompt and clear. All I needed to know was provided to us. The chalet was clean and the bathrooms are modern.
We did not feel rushing on check out during our final day which added value to the whole experience. Shame the next New Zealand Dragon Boat Nationals will be held elsewhere next year, otherwise, I would have booked again. Maybe for some other trip down in Karapiro. Awesome service, Liz and team!'
