'Awesome'

'Had an amazing stay at the Douglas House! Staff greeted us and directed us right to our room. Our unit had a parking spot included. The wrap around porch was our favorite to relax in the morning and evening and people watch. A relaxing and peaceful stay even with the roosters. It’s an old building but nicely maintained and all the creeks and ambiance added to the charm and character. Make sure to lock terrace doors at night so the wind doesn’t blow them open. 'Cute pictures, simple rooms, clean and quite. Not to far of the main area with activities. It was at the edge of town. Staff is only available during the afternoon for check-in.'

'According to price, it is what to be expected. Although the photo's on the website did not match the room. Everything was there. A good bed, a private bathroom and a kichinette. A bit far the nearest shops (supermarket). But nice, quiet, perfect communication. Very well explained in emails upfront arrival about door access etc.'

'I had a lovely stay at tge Briarwood. Tiffany was a wonderful hostess and we shared our stories of Carmel. The inn is lovely, quiet and a great location. I can't wait to come back.'

'Heel schattig zijn de kamers. Ze zijn alleen wat gedateerd: koud binnen en de douche werd helaas niet warm (badkamer is ook heel oud). Hele fijne mooie stille locatie'
