Dit grote, onlangs gerenoveerde huis met zeezicht is ideaal voor een ontspannen familievakantie. Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op de Great South Bay vanuit de open grote kamer en de bovenste dekken. De onlangs gerenoveerde keuken is voorzien van witte kasten, kwarts-werkbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten. De twee volledige badkamers waren beide net opnieuw gedaan. Er is een maaiveld dek en buitendouche. Het huis is volledig voorzien van airconditioning voor uw comfort. De woonkamer, eetkamer, keuken, slaapkamer en tweede complete badkamer bevinden zich op de tweede verdieping en de andere complete badkamer en vier extra slaapkamers bevinden zich op de eerste verdieping. Het huis is volledig uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft voor uw verblijf, waaronder DirecTV, WiFi, BBQ, twee fietsen, strandstoelen en een wagen. Beddengoed, handdoeken, servies, glaswerk, potten en pannen en keukengerei zijn aanwezig.

We recently stayed at a house on Fire Island and had a mixed experience. The location was excellent, and the house itself had potential — spacious and well-situated for enjoying the area.Unfortunately, the upkeep and cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found the house dirty, with several maintenance issues. Some lights were not working, the dishwasher wasn’t cleaning dishes properly, and the kitchen lacked basic supplies needed for cooking. The sliding door did not lock, the oven smoked when in use, and the living room seating was not as advertised — the listing showed a sectional couch, but what we found was a broken recliner and a small sofa, leaving insufficient seating for our group.Most concerning, my daughter developed bed bug bites during our stay, which was extremely upsetting and unacceptable.With proper cleaning, repairs, and more attention to guest comfort, this property could be a great rental. Unfortunately, in its current condition, we cannot recommend it.

Location a 10!

We recently stayed at this VRBO property in Seaview and overall had a great time. The location was truly perfect - just steps from the Seaview Market and ferry, a short, easy walk to the beach and a just a short stroll from Ocean Beach. The house was mostly as described in the listing with strong AC, plenty of space for all 8 of us to sleep, ample beach towels and some great features like the outdoor shower and 3 outdoor spaces. That said, there were a few things that didnt meet our expectations. The living room seating was extremely limited and not nearly enough for our group. The picture in the listing featured a large wrap around couch but when we got there there was just a small couch and a broken barka chair which made hanging out all together at the end of a long day tricky. We also noticed some ants during the stay, some of the beds were really firm which may not suit everyone! Although the home is listed to accommodate 11 guests, there was only 2 bikes and one of them was nearly unusable. There were 5 beach chairs - one seat was broken - so really only 4. Most disappointing was the lack of communication from the property management. I tried to reach out a few times and received no response or just a standard response which was frustrating. All in all, the location was fantastic and with some improvements this could be a top tier rental.

Nice house, fantastic location

This house was very nice, as pictured or better. Clean, no issues checking in or out. Wagon was there as promised, more bikes than promised, lots of beach towels and chairs provided. The house had two wonderful outdoor second story decks with great views of the water and the ferry dock. Location was perfect, so convenient to ferry and market. Two things not great. Although it had an AC unit in every bedroom that all worked fine which made ground floor cool and comfortable, the main living area on the second floor only had one small unit, not adequate at all. Kitchen is very poorly stocked with almost no glasses at all, several other key things you need for cooking most meals not there. Overall, this was a very nice rental, and I have rented many in Fire Island and I would definitely come back

I will be refuting the charge with my credit card company and contacting our attorney.

The property was misrepresented and unsafe. My parents didnt stay with us due to conditions of the property. We contacted Vacasa the rental management company and decided to leave the property and stay with friends as the windows were broken and shattered and the master bed was broken, no wifi, no functional washer and the list goes on. I expect a full refund from VRBO....I am a frequent client of VRBO and this was not acceptable. Please advise how to go about obtaining a full refund or I will have to involve our family attorney. Look up my history-I am a great client

This house is over prices and advertised as being brand new or recently remodeled based on the pictures. However, the house is dirty, run down, broken furniture, broken doors. Requesting a partial refund of $3,000

Dirty and disappointing

When we attempted to check-in at 4 pm, the cleaners were there and the house was still filthy. They told us it would be awhile longer, but didn’t give an exact timeframe when it would be completed. We left our bags in the porch and wandered around town for about an hour until it was “clean.” I know they were probably rushed, but the house was still dirty after the cleaning crew left. The bedspreads were stained/dirty, and several of the towels had stains on them. The floor was still so dirty that the bottoms of our feet turned black after walking around barefoot. The couch was stained and there was what appeared to be black mold in several of the air conditioning units. The bathroom downstairs had holes in the wall where a towel rack should have been, so there were few places to hang towels. We wanted to bike around the town and the listing mentioned multiple bikes would be available. However, the bikes were strewn about the yard and rusted or broken. All in all, for the amount of money we paid to stay at the house, it was disappointing to say the least.

Awful customer service from property management

Our group consisted of adults from age 33-62. On our second night one member of our party went to do laundry which is located in a separate building that is off of the house connected by a bridge walkway. She went to lean on the railing and it fell apart resulting in her falling 6-8 feet. We had to call 911 and have her checked by EMTs. It resulted in bruises and swelling of her face and overall soreness. (She will be seeking further medical attention by her primary doctor now that we are home) A member from Vacasa did come to the house that evening but was very cold regarding the whole situation. They offered us a refund if we were to cut our vacation short for unused evenings. We requested a full refund for the negligence of property upkeep and were denied. There was absolutely no reason for a railing to give way like that and this incident could have easily resulted in permanent bodily injury or death. We would never stay at a Vacasa property again. Other than that the house as a whole was dirty, was unsafe for dogs or kids (inside stairs are steep and railing is unstable) and we found several coackroaches, the house had no hair dryer and the bicycles were broken. When I brought the other concerns to the property manager her response was "I'm sorry you have had a less than desirable experience" with no offer on how to fix or replace any of those items.

Sea view Beach House

This beach house is in great location and worked well for our family. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. Unfortunately, the floors were less than clean and we got out the mop to wash the kitchen floor. The refrigerator did not work properly (no ice or filtered water and we had to reboot to get the refrigerator side to keep cool). The property manager did respond to our concerns, but there was no follow up.

the house was clean and prepared for us to stay with a nice note to contact if there was anything we needed. We left messages bcs there were not enough glasses and the ice maker didn’t work but e didn’t hear back from anyone.

The location is ideal but the property was **filthy** (despite assurances of extra premium cleaning given COVID-19). In cleaned pots and pans were placed in the cabinets. A dishwasher filled with dirty dishes containing rotting food; the food had been left rotting for so long that a putrid smell came from the dishwasher. The floors had not been swept or mopped. The upstairs bath was filled with hair from the prior renter. The downstairs bathroom had not been cleaned. There were cobwebs on the lamps and even the handle of the microwave oven. The wagon that was supposed to be awaiting us at the ferry terminal was missing. By far my worst VRbo rental experience.

Great Stay!

The listing looks just as it does online. It is clean and spacious and provided us with almost everything we need. I would note that though there were no towels provided. We anticipated this and brought out own, so there were no issues, but good for future renters to know. Overall a lovely stay! I've been to Fire Island many times and this was by far my favorite house!
