Dit rustige landhuis biedt meer dan 2.000 vierkante meter aan leefruimte - genoeg ruimte voor iedereen om te ontspannen en te genieten van hun uitje. Een open plattegrond, felgekleurde muren en tonnen natuurlijk licht creëren een licht en luchtig gevoel door het hele huis!

Zodra u thuiskomt van het meer, kunt u ontspannen op een van de banken in de woonkamer en uw favoriete shows bekijken op de flatscreen-tv. Log in op de draadloze internetverbinding om op het net te surfen of werk te doen terwijl u niet op kantoor bent.

Als je vissen uit het meer kunt inrollen, kook ze dan in de volledig uitgeruste keuken! De keuken is voorzien van roestvrijstalen apparatuur en alles wat u nodig hebt om ontbijt, lunch en diner te bereiden.

The house is very clean & also very comfortable. The house had the amenities we were needing & we enjoyed our stay! It’s on a dead end street & up a decent incline. It was very quiet & that’s what we wanted! While there were neighbors pretty close, no one was a bother. Very Nice! The 4th bedroom really could use a ceiling fan or 2. It got pretty stuffy in there overnight because the door was closed for privacy. The one end of the sectional couch, the reclining footstool was broke & when you put it down it didn’t go in all the way, but once you got up off the couch it would pop back in...this was like that when we arrived... We came to the area seeking outdoor activities & we rented a pontoon for a day to enjoy the water. It was pretty hot while we were there so our outdoor activities were pretty limited. The house is located walking distance to the main drag through Grand Rivers tourist area. We played mini golf & looked around, but otherwise we stayed away. The grocery store will give you major sticker shock so beware. No gas stations that we could find. The elk & bison reserve was disappointing...we were told by locals you have to be there before 8am or after 6pm to have a chance at seeing them.

The house was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. It had a great location in Grand Rivers close to Patti's and not far from the Green Turtle Bay Marina. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

My 2 sisters and our 93 year old mom spent 3 days there. We lived the house, all on 1 level which was important for us. It's location bc was convenient for what we wanted to do. Would rent again.

Perfect space for our girls weekend. Very clean. Living room has a different couch than what was pictured. It is a single large sectional instead of the 3 separate couches. The sectional gave plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably for late night chats. Kitchen was supplied well. Location couldn't have been any better. Within walking distance to Patti's settlement and the Playhouse, where we were able to catch a great show. Great location to come relax and get away from the daily grind. Beds were comfortable. 3 out of 5 had memory foam mattresses. Check in was super easy and contact with the host was great. We arrived a little early and called to see if we could check in. Host answered my call straight away and after he called the cleaning crew, confirmed we could check in. We also had a transformer blow in town which caused an electrical cable to snap right outside the home which caused a power outage. Again, called the host who answered straight away. He contacted the electric company and confirmed back to me resources where on there way to fix the problem. Great communication. Would recommend this home to anyone who likes to have space to spread out as well as great gathering areas.

This was the 2nd year in a row that we chose this home. It is perfect for a group of 6-8 having 4 bedrooms. The house is always clean and the owner is prompt to answer questions. It is within walking distance to Patti's and so many area attractions are within an hours drive or less. Would highly recommend this great home!

We just returned from a stay at the Grand Rivers home and had a wonderful time. The home was immaculately clean and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need and was in a VERY convenient location to everything in Grand Rivers. You can see Patti's from the front porch and walk over in under two minutes. Our only suggestion would be that the home REALLY needs another television and updated/improved WIFI. One television for a large family or for multiple visitors is just not enough.

Would have been nice to know about the road work that's 20ft from us. Haven't had a peaceful morning yet. Only one TV not two. All the local areas that you could walk to are flooded out, including some roads. There is also a doe that lives right behind the house which is pretty cool. The kids loved it. also if you are coming to swim, bring a boat or rent. The beaches were packed everywhere.

The online description needs to be updated just a bit. There was one tv, not three, and no dvd player. We enjoyed the house. The three of five beds we used were comfortable. The kitchen, though small, was well equipped. My husband and daughter were happy with the two large couches, but I have one bad knee and one recently replaced, and I found all of the living room furniture too squishy and too low. We all hated the stools at both tables and the kitchen counter. Not a fan of stools at any time, but these all seemed designed for maximum discomfort. If you have mobility issues this house on a steep lot, with stairs to the front door, a toilet placed too close to the sink in the small bath, and an unexpected two inch drop into the largest bedroom will not work for you. For all others this house was nicer than most that I have rented through HomeAway. the location is very convenient for travel in the LBL area and very close, within walking distance, to several restaurants, and a grocery. We had no communication with the property manager, but this review requires a rating, so take thatinto consideration if you are look8ng at start ratings.

Clean, comfortable amenities. Close to attractions in the area. Dining, water park, marina, lake and market. A great experience. Within walking distance of market, dining, shopping in downtown Grand Rivers, especially Patti's Restaurant. Short drive to Marina, Maggie's Miniature Golf, Venture River Water Park, both lakes, etc. Clean home with all the amenities for a family vacation. Would definitively rent again - we loved it!!

Our family of 7 adults and two children ages 5 and 3 spent three nights here. It was our first visit to Lake Barkley and we were very pleased with our lake house rental . It was spacious with 4 bedrooms and an open floor plan for us to all eat and relax together. The covered porch allowed us to cook out one night and have some relief from the intense heat of the day after being at the lake. We wished that Patti’s 1812 Settlement Restaurant had been open but we enjoyed a great cheeseburger at their food truck for a late lunch upon our arrival to the area. Patti’s has cute little shops to visit and a fun putt putt golf course to spend an afternoon if you are too sunburned for more lake fun. We fixed most of our meals at the lake house otherwise so we could have more family time and let the youngsters have more free play. Our pontoon from the Green Turtle Bay Resort Marina was super nice and we enjoyed finding spots to swim and took a recommendation from the Marina crew to stop at Ralph’s for lunch which we all loved. The owner of our lake house was very responsive and the house was equipped with all the needed supplies to cook meals to feed 7 adults and two kids without any problem. The seating in the family room was ample and the two table areas on either side of kitchen and the family room was more than enough for us and our granddaughter loved having a nice place to draw and play. The master bathroom was awesome and the large tub and additional shower made it easy for my daughter’s family to clean up quickly after a long day at the lake. We loved checking out Lake Barkley and Grand Rivers and found it an easy 3 hour drive from Louisville . We definitely will go back so we can enjoy family time in our beautiful state park again soon!
