In the back of a classic building on the main street of the popular get-away village. Bus from NYC stops right out front. Plus, the location is just steps from the Hudson River and the Piermont Pier.

Cute little apartment
The stay was comfortable and as listed. My only complaints are that the back door was not locked when I arrived and was so difficult to lock I had to contact owner. I did notice another comment mentioning same. Since the owner locked it for me I was unable to use it again. The back patio wasn't the most inviting space and had trash on it anyhow. Would suggest cleaning patio and adding a user friendly lock. Also the apartment was suffocatingly humid. There was a dehumidifer but I had to empty it several times per day. Otherwise it was cute and convenient for one.

Small but great one night stay
My experience here was great!! It was perfect for me and two of my friends that stayed here for NYE. It is a little far from city but the town is cute, quiet and we felt very safe. Some things that we did not like was the back door doesnt lock so that was a little unnerving but thanfully we were in a safe town. Another thing was there were some bugs like a house centipede or something. Overall, could use some touch ups but not bad for one night!

Location was definitely perfect! The oven/stove didn't work but they communicated and made it right after we purchased a lot of food we planned to cook. Could be cleaner but really not bad. Just quite a few cob webs on the ceilings and some gnats in the kitchen. Would likely stay again. Has what you need and can't beat the location right in town!

I wanted to love this one
I’ll start with the Pro’s. The street where the VRBO is located is so adorable. Very quiet & safe. Right around the corner from the river with many restaurants within walking distance. We had a rental car so we drove to the Tarrytown station & took the Metro North right into NYC. Train was about 45 minutes & you’re right in the heart of the city. The drive to Tarrytown was about 15 minutes. Not bad at all! It’s basically a 2 bedroom, one room with a Queen & the other room has a futon. The back patio area was also private & super cool! The minuses were minor, but I feel like they need to be listed. You need to know that parking is plentiful, but you do have to “call-in” your car to the town hotline every single night. If you don’t you get a ticket. There was one night we got in late & I nearly forgot. Thankfully I remembered at the last minute. The toilet seat was broken when you went to sit down. There was no basic VRBO amenities like a microwave, TV, iron or ironing board. To add those things would instantly enhance the appeal of this property. The stove also was not working during our stay. We learned that the hard way when we brought a bunch of food but had no way to warm it up. Both called & texted the owner & did not hear back for 3 hours. I know people have other things going on, but typically in other VRBO’s I’ve stayed in the owners were immediately responsive to any & all issues we had. Like I said, small things, but important things in order to elevate this to the same kind of things I would expect at a VRBO property. Adding those would take this from 3 stars in my opinion to 5.
