The service was excellent, the property was kept very clean. It is a very small hotel (38 rooms) so it wasn't busy or loud. There is only 1 restaurant and a pool bar, so not much option on food. Waiters (especially Cesar) were super nice and accommodating. Fish was served raw, even after requesting it be cooked a second time. Unfortunately the place is in bad need of repairs everywhere. There needs to be better attention to details. Around the pool beds, wood planks are coming off (a simple 10 minute job of putting screws would resolve this), on the roof deck, some planks on the floor need to be screwed down (this is a hazard if you are walking barefoot and trip). The pool has lots of missing tiles - just glue them back! The tubs in the balcony are filled with cold water and the jets do not work. No way to put hot water in them. The tub inside the room takes about 1 hour to fill up due to low water pressure and the water is tepid. By the time it fills up, the water is cold. So not a usable tub. They have a microwave in the kitchen and a little sink. There is not one plate, drinking glasses, eating utensils, paper towels - nothing. Why have a kitchen/microwave at all? How are you supposed to heat up anything? They have 2 micro coffee cups for espresso and that's it. And why just one trash can in the toilet "room"? Most places have a toilet in the bathroom and another one in the room. The mirror in the bathroom needs to be replaced. And the worst - the pillows feel like rocks.
