'We had the most wonderful stay at one of our family's most special places, Port Aransas. The house accommodated all of our family comfortably and easily. This home is beautiful and has everything that you would need. We love being a short walk over the boardwalk to the beach or a quick golf cart drive on Sand Castle. We did call Port A Escapes (the management company) and they were very kind and responsive. This home will definitely be on our list for future visits to the island. Thank you!!'

'The Blue Roost is a wonderful get-away beach house! For a vacation rental, the property is extremely well-maintained. You can tell that the hosts, Lauren and Doug Applegate, truly care about their renters. They are so attentive to every little detail. We communicated a few times with Lauren, and she was exceptionally responsive. Priceless!!! Hands down the best vacation rental we have ever had. We'll be back!'

'I can not possibly convey how perfect this condo was. The location is absolutely perfect. The beach is literally around the corner. 5 minute golf cart ride to anything you need in town. The condo was equipped above and beyond anything you would need. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach toys all available to borrow while staying at the condo. Large well kept pool steps from the unit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND'

'This was our first time to Port A. The stay was a great experience, it almost lost a star, because of the Sparta condition of the property. No way to rinse your mouth in the bathroom, one hand towel for 2 people in the bathrooms, there were no games or decks of cards as listed and the weather was damp a lot causing a need to stay in. The pool needed some attention to make it a plus for the property. The elevator was a real plus for older folks and moving provisions to the second floor kitchen....

'Cute little bungalow close to everything in Port Aransas. It is small, but roomy enough for two adults, two teens and two dogs. Property and furniture were very clean and comfortable, but definitely don't forget to read the description and bring extra paper goods, your own pillows, soap/shampoo, trash bags, etc, as advised. Beds are comfy. Plenty kitchen ware, including plastic dishes for kids, and did not experience the noise issues reported by previous visitor. Outdoor shower was a favorite...
