'Perfect home away from home (just a few minutes off main highway after 16 hr drive). The check-in process was quick and easy and the dogs were running around the huge fully fenced in yard within minutes of our arrival. The neighborhood was great for walking the dogs and scenic for us, with the pond just down at the end if the road. The backyard had a real nice grill, fire pit, and patio area. Would have plenty of room for children as well with a large sitting room downstairs along with third bedroom/office workspace. Excellent communication with host. 'The place was very clean and beautiful. It could use a few more mixing bowls and serving platters for holiday cooking. The only complaint I have would be the master bedroom is freezing cold at night and there is no way to raise the heat (they are locked) and all the beds have a very thin blanket. The big bedroom with the four beds in it also gets very very cold. We slept with socks and robes on it was so cold a few nights. The bathroom in the upstairs master never got above luke warm water. So...

'My husband, brother, and I stayed for a lazy Labor Day weekend, Aug-Sept, 2023. Everything about the house was lovely, exactly as as described and pictured, but even better when you are there live and in person! Highly highly recommend renting the pontoon boat! It was a hot weekend, but much cooler on the lakes — and SO much fun to travel through the canal to upper Lake Camelot. Just amazing 😃'
