'This is the third time we have stayed at the black bear lodge in Stratton and every time we stay our experience is the same.. excellent. The staff are all so nice and accommodating, the property is clean and the breakfast is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it really is the perfect place to stay in Vermont. 'Very old property but nicely renovated. A bit too pricey for the accommodation. The included breakfast was good. I was forced to book late because my booking in Chester cancelled and left me with little time or choice. I was told it was due to renovations not complete. Not ideal. I do not think reservations should be accepted if the property is not ready for occupancy.'

'I will start with the negatives and close with the positives. I wasn't convinced the towels were clean and there was literally only one each for us, seemed there was no attention to detail with cleaning (lots of hair and dust in corners in bathroom, 1/2 used sugar packet in the selection at the coffeemaker, bed skirt dragging on the floor, etc.), breakfast was lame, but I get it, because it's covid. For the positives, location was AWESOME, the room was super spacious with updated climate...

'My husband and I were traveling to Vermont for one night stay. We selected this property because it had pretty rooms. Unfortunately that’s not what we received. Checking in our reservation could not be found. Luckily the desk clerk was able to figure out a repeated mistake. She gave us the key to room #60. We expected a beautiful room with 2 beds. What we got was a suite that had badly stained carpet, furniture that needed to be replaced , water stained bathroom walls and dirty bathroom floors....

'My family and I loved our stay in Creekside Camp! The location was beautiful, the cabin was gorgeous and the hot tub by the creek was the cherry on top. Dan, the property owner, communicated quickly and went above and beyond if we had any issues. All and all it was the perfect relaxing getaway and we can't wait to come back again!'

'The unit was perfect for our ski race weekend. Very accessible, underground parking included (ski boxes on top of SUVs will not fit - thankfully we left ours at home), really nice place with everything we needed!'

'We had a great stay at this cabin and the property. It's everything the write up says and then some. The owner is a true craftsman with an eye for creativity and for bringing the outside in. I wish I had taken a photo of my review that I left him handwritten in his leather bound book to share with you here. He has thought of everything to provide a peaceful, calm and tranquil getaway. There is so much wildlife to be seen and heard. The cabin is rustic and gave me Hobbit and fairytale vibes. We...
