'A group of dance moms and teens stayed the weekend for a competition close by. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room and supplies needed for sleeping and making meals. It was super clean and felt safe. Rachel was so pleasant and accommodating as well as easy to reach when needed through texts. Definitely would stay here again.'

'This property was the perfect location to visit with family and friends for Christmas. It’s near many stores and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. We appreciated all the extra amenities too like the soaps, shampoos, nice bottle of wine… We loved the wood fireplace with gas and used it every chance we had. The kitchen was also well equipped. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thank you Vic and Grace for the great experience.'

'We really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions. We loved being right on the river and we caught a lot of fish (bass and big catfish). We drove to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park and went hiking there. We couldn't wait to get back to the cabin after hiking to relax. All the furniture, beds and bedding were very comfortable. The cabin is nicely decorated, beautiful wood furnishings and taxidermy. We would definitely stay here again!'

'It’s super close to downtown Yorkville!! So in the months with better weather it would be perfect to stay and walk to the few restaurants downtown and little shops and the river area. We arrived a little early and the host let us in and was able to change the codes around so we could check in as it was cold out! So super accommodating helpful!! Also the garage is a bonus but anything larger than a mid range suv is not going to fit as parking is tight! The only issue we had was the neighbors were...

'The inside of the property was as very small but clean and nice. The location wasn’t very pleasant view of neighborhood. No tv’s in bedrooms. Water smelled like rotten eggs and the sink in the bathroom ran dry slow. The view from the deck was amazing and the dock was great for fishing.'

'Unfortunately I woke up to a cancelation email mere hours before we left. At 1:30 the property manager sent me an email saying she canceled our stay and issued a full refund. After some questioning I was told that the previous tenant flooded the upstairs by leaving the bathtub on and the unit was uninhabitable. This was just an unfortunate situation for all parties involved. It was out of her control and she did the right thing by issuing a full refund. It completely messed our trip up but it is...

'Came to town for 4th of July week to visit family. Rental was close to family. The rental was clean and had all the amenities. Only recommendation would be for ceiling fans in each room.'

'Everything was as described. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the host was very quick to respond. We would give this a 10+ if the room with the super comfortable couches had a tv. We enjoyed our time there nonetheless.'
