'We had a such a great time in this rental property. The view is phenomenal! With the jacuzzi, wow! My friends and I fished the whole day and we we're catching fish left and right! So fun! The place is neat, and well taken care of. Spacious parking, and plenty of space inside and out. Overall experience at this place is 10 out of 10 stars! For sure we'll be back sooner than expected!'

'We were at a basketball tournament and stayed at this adorable house. The owner was extremely sweet and answered all of our questions. Once we got to the house I was amazed at how roomy and clean the house is. The owner thought of everything! Lots of space and very well kept we would definitely stay here again!'

'There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!'

'We were in town with family and had a wonderful stay. Being right on the river watching the eagles was worth double the price. All details were thought of and executed nicely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house was super clean. Jason was the best host we have had, very accommodating and communicative. 'I wanted a view. What I got was nesting eagles in the tree out my window, a nightly roaring fire with ample wood supply, super responsive host, welcome wine and snacks, comfortable beds and high end baths, white linens and privacy. If you don’t mind steps to enter the home, and some personal touches throughout (books, candles, travel trinkets, mugs, condiments, kid fun) you will enjoy your stay very much! Want a pristine hotel, choose a hotel. Want eagles, geese and pelicans + a private stay...

'This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. The weather didn't quite cooperate the night we were planning to have a fire, but there is a fire ring with plenty of wood available and lots of outdoor seating. The backyard is large and fenced, and we were glad to see the cornhole game (even though I am possibly the worst player ever). Communication was great! I still cannot believe how big the bedrooms are,...

'We had an excellent Thanksgiving stay in this quaint home right on the Mississippi river. The location couldn't have been better for us. The number of bedrooms, supplies in the kitchen, and activities for the kids inside the house were wonderful. Highly recommend this for any short or long journey to Iowa for a family or couples.'

We loved our time here. The house always smells so good. The host is great to work with and always very responsive when needed. It is close to every place we had to go in Davenport. 'Beautifully decorated. Great bed and linens. Lots of space. Kitchen had all we needed and more. My only note is that if stairs are an issue for your party, stairs to get in and bathrooms are in the lower and upper levels. Beautiful and large bathrooms however.'

'This is my second time staying at the Carriage House and it was as nice as last time. The location is perfect for getting around the Quad Cities. This is our new “home away from home” when we come visit family and friends. Also, check out Main Street Coffee…it is an easy walk or drive and has great coffee/drinks.'

'This was the second time that we stayed here. It is very peaceful. We love watching the beautiful sunsets from the back deck. There's nothing like relaxing by the water. We enjoyed riding our bikes along the bike path right outside the front door. Plenty to do up and down the river: museums, shops, restaurants, and outdoor recreation. Most places are within a 30-minute drive or less.'
