'We would highly recommend staying at Acadia Yurts when visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia. The property was exactly as described and pictured. The Yurt had everything we needed to make our stay cozy. We visited in October and although the nights were chilly the heaters were phenomenal and we were completely comfortable throughout our stay. Plan to buy your major groceries in Ellsworth, then to Beech Hill Farm nearby for the best produce you will ever eat. Wonderful restaurants in nearby Southwest Harbor. 'The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.'

'This place is absolutely beautiful. From the stillness of the early morning to the afternoon breeze off the lake to evenings around the fire, its the sort of place where memories are made. With its private dock, canoe, kayaks, and paddleboat there's plenty to keep you occupied and engaged. Or just sit on the deck and soak up the sun. Pergaps the best thing i can say about our stay is that my phone got wet so it wouldnt charge, and i did not care one little bit! I was enjoying myself far too much...

'We loved the close proximity to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and the quiet, wooded location of our cabin. We had every amenity we could want in this beautiful little cabin! Highly recommended— would definitely book a stay there again!'

'This was my second time staying at the Surrey music farm and both times deserved 5 stars! The cottage was exactly as advertised and contained anything you could ever need. Not to mention stunning views from the deck and an amazing location if you hope to visit Acadia during your stay. Alan was also very communicative and personable each time! He even provides a list of recommendation and amenities to ensure your comfort ! Will be back again soon!'
