'We stayed on a houseboat in Lewis Wharf a few years ago and loved it, so we wanted to donit again. We are actually’local’ and my teen and adult kids like to stay in the city for short breaks. (We live an hour away). Love the proximity to the North End, the T, the Aquarium etc. Surprisingly quiet. We miss the boat we used to have, so we enjoy getting gently rocked to sleep. Will always choose a houseboat over a hotel if it’s available.'

'It was so much fun to stay on the boat for our trip to Boston! We had a great view of the downtown area and yet were in a more tranquil environment The boat was just as pictured and very comfortable for the 4 of us. Chad was so nice. He met us at the marina, showed us around and even gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner nearby . We took him up on both restaurants and we’re not disappointed! I highly recommend staying there and hope to return'

'My son and I stayed here on a spring break trip. The location was a 5 min walk from the USS Constitution, a 10 min walk to Bunker Hill and a 20-30 min walk to the North End. However because we were on a boat in a marina there was zero traffic noise and that combined with the rocking motion of the houseboat meant I slept extremely well. Bonus: we were visited on several days by a pair of ducks who would hang out on the patio with us. Got to love a vacation home that comes with pets! Downsides?...

'Little Pearl is an absolute gem. I stayed aboard her 3 weeks; bed is super comfy, georgous linens, towels plentiful, the top deck view just lovely. the maintenance or problem solving (if you happen to need assistance) is superbly and amazingly quick; Deb the owner has great communication and super check in notes too; the Location just fab; pier 6 beautiful bar & restaurant around the corner and the fab ferry from just beyond your marina takes you to North End for a super cheap 3.75 where you can...

'Me and a friend so enjoyed our stay. Rocked to sleep in comfy bed and pull out sofa. Only hiccup is that there are no late check ins. That is stated in other rules.'

'It was everything we thought as far as location in the boat itself, but the exterior of the boat was in need of a cleaning the bathtowels. What didn't you and mildew smelling the betting was tingy. And a little smelly, but overall, the place was clean in general. And had everything you'd want or need.'

'Great experience. I would stay here again, and hope to, many times over. Marina (building on right as you drive in, before larger restaurant building) has clean and comfortable full bathrooms that make this a great option.'

'Cozy accommodations close to Back Bay and Fenway. A little too cozy for a couple - better for a solo leisure stay (no desk or working space). Rooms in pics look bigger than what it actually is. Garden level rooms will be a bit noisy. Excellent location and spotless and good security. '

'If you are looking for a room with a view, this is not your place. If you want a very comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a place to rest after a long day, this is as good as any. If you want your money to go toward a lady with young kids instead of a mega millionaire, stay here. This is in the southern suburbs of Boston. Not handicapped accessible because you have to go down 4 steps. '
