'Comfortable, well maintained property. It's a great place to decompress with a peaceful location toward the end of the road. There is a nice small community beach to wander and take in the sea, Mt Baker, and comb for shells, etc. Wifi was strong. Check in and check out were easy. One word of caution is that the place could become unreachable or nearly so if there is significant snow or ice in winter.'

'Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).'

'Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.'

'We loved our stay on Orcas Island. This rental was nicely located. Close to Eastsound for groceries and shopping, and even closer to Moran for lots of gorgeous hiking! The house was well-appointed and had everything you need. It is a professional property manager, so they are easy to reach and very responsive.'

'The view is incredible and it was better priced than the condo down in town. The driveway isn’t the most fun for any vehicle that has a lower ride height, but it’s a few days, and isn’t going to do any permanent damage. More of a heads up than a complaint. Property manager is phenomenal.'

'This is a beautiful property, with decks overlooking the Salish Sea on all 3 levels. Very quiet, with only harbor seals and river otters to be seen. The stairway down from the parking location to the house entrance was well worthwhile for such a wonderfully situated house!'

'This large, comfortable house was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and baking; the coffee grinder was a nice perk. We appreciated that there were plenty of towels; extra blankets; details such as toiletries, laundry soap, first aid kit and emergency kits. 'My family and our small dog had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful property. The neighborhood is quiet and the waterfront location is perfect. We saw tons of wildlife, including orcas and had beautiful views day and night from the house. The house is well stocked and one of the best kitchens we’ve used at a vacation home. The owner was easy to work with and we hope to return again to this wonderful home in an amazing setting.'

'Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. '
