'Was a lovely, quick stay. We had an interior (no window) room which was a nice surprise. We got the best sleep!! Our entire family almost slept through checkout!

'For my this being my first time in Richmond ( I’m from Norfolk ) The commonwealth hotel is very unique. The different pieces of art , the doors, the restaurant it’s all amazing. I think if I ever need a retreat again locally … I’ll definitely come there again as long as I have the same room.'

'The room was nicely updated and very clean. Beds were comfortable (pillows were quite puffy, but I prefer pretty flat ones. not a huge deal though. Breakfast was very good and I enjoyed experiencing their auto-pancake making machine. My only real complaint is the parking garage was too low for our jeep, but there was ample street parking. '
