'This property is a refurbished boat house. I realize that all of the pictures are accurate but the place is WAY BETTER than I expected. First of all, the space is HUGE, at more than 800 sq ft. It has a king size bed, a futon, a couch, a dining room table, a huge desk, a bar, a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, and a bathroom with tub. 'Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.'

'My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

'The view was amazing! Clean and nicely decorated. In saying that, There were no pots and pans, knife to food prep with and no can opener in the kitchen. I purchased a set of pots and pans and a can opener. All of my food in the fridge spoiled. I had to throw it all away the fridge was not cold enough and needed to be repaired. They need to update there mattress it sunk in the middle and was very uncomfortable.'

'This was our 5th visit to Boothbay as a family and our 2nd stay at this property. We absolutely love the central location, the house has everything you need, clean, and a/c units if needed. Oh and washer and dryer which is essesntial when traveling with kiddos in my opinion. I did notice some other mentioned the stairs to get up to the condo which didn’t bother us at all BUT could deter someone if stairs are a problem. We will be back!!! Thanks for hosting us!'
