'None of the staff was very helpful. Continental breakfast was an absolute joke, coffee was so weak you weren’t positive it was even coffee and no choices for something to eat except a sticky doughnut in cellophane. Our room key needed reset several times and the last night it stopped working and they weren’t able to give us access to our room'

'There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower that I found when I pulled the curtain for my first shower. There were also bugs in the bathroom. I called ahead and asked for extra caffeinated coffee in my room to make coffee and when I arrived they gave me 4 packets of DEcaffeinated coffee and told me they didn't have any coffee with caffeine. The ice bucket in my room had a big crack along the bottom, so it leaked all over everything and damaged my phone. This place should NOT be...

'The staff was not rude or u helpful. The staff could improve of areas of being more welcoming and inviting to guests as you move throughout the property. The pool area can use a major upgrade as its a basic pool area with not ambiance or aesthetic. The layout of the resort is a little off to me. The spa and pool are should be on the same level. The restaurants and casino are good. The selling point of the resort is the outdoor lake out back with lounge chairs, fires pits and an outdoor bar.'

'This is a low budget motel, so I don't expect much. But the room has to be clean and this was not! Multiple stains on the bed linnen, sheets and towels. The floor in the bathroom was sticky and the carpet was not clean.'

Our room was like an entire apartment and really exceeded our expectations. The pictures were really limited and did not do it justice. 'Nice, unique place to stay. In the woods, with our building is unlike anywhere else where we have stayed. I would stay here again. It is like being in a campsite, but staying in a hotel room. Since the buildings are not attached to any others, there is zero noise from neighbors.'

'Overall a pleasant stay. The hot tub was nice. Missing basic maintenance. Several lightbulbs were missing or burned out, The seat was not attached on one of the kitchen chairs. And the towels all had a fuzz/lint on them that got all over you when you were drying off. Has the potential to be a very nice place to stay.'

'Don’t let the word “mansion“ fool you. This will be a clean but bare bones experience. If you think that you are getting something lovely because of the word ‘mansion’, you will be disappointed. Rather, you will have a serviceable place to sleep that is very conveniently located.'
