Coulter Farmstead - Old Washington Farm Stay -175 jaar oude historische hut

Kom een stap terug in de tijd en ontspan in onze 175 jaar oude blokhut. Het is een authentieke, historische structuur met extra moderne gemakken. Of het nu een rustige avond op de veranda is, een duik in het zwembad 's nachts onder de sterren, of koffie met de dieren, u zult zeker genieten van uw verblijf op onze boerderij terwijl u het leven in een hut ervaart zoals het zou kunnen zijn geweest in de vroege 1800's. Onze historische hut kan comfortabel slapen 4. Er zijn 2 grote bedden (onthoud mensen, die grote bedden bestonden toen niet), maar de onze zijn comfortabel! De slaapgelegenheid is een bed in het hoofdgedeelte van de cabine en een bed op de zolder (die toegankelijk is via een ladder). De cabine beschikt over een complete keuken en een schilderachtige badkamer met een oud bad op pootjes en een antieke badinrichting (in de hand gehouden - douches bestonden toen niet). Als gast op onze boerderij kunt u vrij rondlopen. De hele boerderij is van jou. U kunt op elk moment genieten van het zwembad, u mengen onder de dieren of ontspannen op de veranda van uw hut.

Farm Living

My family and our good friends stayed 2 nights at the Coulter Farmstead. The farm is so nice and it was fun to explore! They have a really cute mini Highland bull and a small herd of mini cattle. There are also goats, 2 pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. It was really nice to drink coffee on the porch in the mornings and watch the animals. The proprietors are very nice and attentive. It was a very nice quiet place to relax. There is also a creek on their property. I wished we could have stayed one more day just to explore the creek and check out the history of Washington, Arkansas more. If you want a quiet rural stay, and enjoy Civil War history, this is a great place to stay.

Weekend get away

We spent the weekend here while visiting the jonquil festival. It was PERFECT! It was exactly like the pictures. The cabin was amazing, as was the whole farm. The owners were above and beyond helpful and kind. The beds comfy, breakfast was delicious, and grounds well manicured! We brought our dog and he was welcomed as well! It was peaceful and quiet. We loved all the farm animals. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough if this visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Washington. It was a beautiful place, quiet and even had fireflies which I have not seen since I was a child. Would recommend for any occasion. If we ever head this way again we will definitely stay with the farm.

Nice old cabin on family farm

We had a great time here. Justice was cool & the pool was refreshing. Lots of friendly animals on site. Great country setting. A train parked behind our cabin for the night with engines running, but it really was not an issue.

This is one of my favorite places I have visited in the past few years. If you are looking for quiet and quaint this is definitely the place. My wife enjoyed feeding the animals, and the breakfast is definitely worth getting!

Magical Property

This property was so freakin adorable, from the general store, to the chickens and goats, rustic cabins to the cute friendly family that owns it. Beds were super comfy and cabin had everything we needed. I was nervous about the tub, but both my elderly father and myself were able to use it. Only down side was the loft was a bit scary to climb up and down. Loved visiting with the friendly kitty. Great location if you’re interested in park. Overall, highly recommend!
