'We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs.'

'My second time staying at this property. The location in West End Greenville cannot be beat. And it includes TWO parking spaces, which are at a premium when Artisphere comes to town. Easy walk to Falls Park on the Reedy, or to a Greenville Drive baseball game. (Be forwarned: you WILL hear Fireworks on Friday nights when the Drive are in town!) 'I had a work trip and prefer staying out of hotels and in nature. This little gem hit every one of my preferences! Its seclusion and peaceful surroundings make it a 10/10 for me. The house was spotless, the bed was SO COMFY, and it made for the perfect getaway. I often have negative experiences with shower sizes for my husband (he’s tall). 'Horrible experience! The house was filthy! Towels and washcloths were old, worn and mismatched. Bedding on queen bed did not fit the bed. Bunk beds had no bunkieboards and cheap mattresses. Dishes were sparse, random and put up dirty. Outdoor hedges are overgrown and house is hardly visible from the road. Vrbo refunded our money, but weren’t able to find somewhere else for us to stay on an already stressful weekend, as we were in town for my 10 year old nephew’s funeral! We will likely never...
