Relaxing Getaway

This well appointed home is located in a clean, well kept , safe neighborhood, and is nestled by a small duck pond. At night the pond's lighted fountain makes a splashing sound which makes the screened back porch a place of peace, tranquility, and great for meditation or that celebration cigar. Early in the morning, you will see the ducks, cranes, and several other birds species that make for fun and very interesting viewing.

There is a community pool, park, walking trails, and a local library for the long-term guests to use. A regional shopping mall, and virtually every restaurant and store you can imagine are only 10 minutes, or less, away. Indialantic Beach is 8 miles from the house and other beaches just minutes further away. Kennedy Space Center is 30 minutes from the house and the Disney parks are 60 minutes away. The home was recently remodeled, is sparkling clean, freshly painted, and Covid-19 disinfected between each guest. You will feel safe and comfortable in this well appointed home with leather, reclining couch and love seat for relaxing while watching cable TV in the living room and wi-fi can be used thought the house. The kitchen is well appointed and there is an indoor laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer on the premises for you to use, and we provide wash detergent and fabric softener. There is a Weber Grill on the spacious back porch for Bar-B-Q'ing with gas that is included.

Perfect for an extended stay
This home and neighborhood was great for our winter getaway. The location is close to shopping, restaurants, golf and the beaches. And there are a lot of nearby towns and cities for sightseeing and more great restaurants! There is also a large pond and fountain plus a screened lanai. We enjoyed the pond which has a variety of fish and attracts visiting herons and ibis. The home has a very spacious interior and is well equipped with all the essentials. The furniture is comfortable and the Sleep-Number bed was a real plus. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions and he seemed eager to provide an enjoyable stay. This was truly one of the most enjoyable winter vacations we've ever had.

Best value! Great property and host!
3rd time we’re here, can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else. What’s great: - Super host responds quickly, gets things fixed - Master BR sleep number bed, customize each side - Bird pond. Jays, egrets, anhingas, great blue herons, tortoise. Relaxing fountain - Comfy furniture. DR & patio chairs, beds, reclining couches - Elegant. Furniture matches, nice pics, silverware matches - Large screened porch for bird watching. Screens replaced, no holes - Well stocked kitchen, towels, linens Also good: - Layout, space. Plenty of room, never in each other’s way - Other than basic rules shown on VRBO, no more rules for stay, 3 easy checkout instructions: don’t make beds, put towels in laundry room, lock house. We don’t mind taking out trash or starting dishwasher, but some do - Shower door fixed - Master bath now has handheld shower head. No pressure options, but I prefer - 6 matching chairs for DR table - Great wifi Not so good this time: - Flies. There were 10+ morning and night for a couple of days. We bought fly swatters (left them for others), no more than a few after a few days. Host wanted to send exterminators out immediately, but we didn’t want them coming while we were there. Small dead bugs there other 2 stays, so guessing somewhere needs caulk. I’m confident this won’t be a problem again next time we come - Neighborhood construction. First working on a roof across the pond, then next door. That happens. Only worked during day, wasn’t too loud or continuous

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
This honestly was my first time going the VRBO-type route and it did not disappoint. The location was great for our needs as several restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores were nearby. It was easy to get on I-95 for our daily trips to Space Coast Stadium for my son's USSSA All-American Games tournament. Most everything we would need for the stay was provided which was a nice bonus (towels, stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, etc...). If you are needing a comfortable, safe place to stay on the Space Coast, this is it!

A delightful month
This property is as advertised and lovely. The home is spacious, clean, and well stocked…lots of towels, sheets, paper products, pots and pans, and dishes, and some basic cooking ingredients. We loved the lanai overlooking the pond and were visited regularly by birds and turtles. We will definitely return.

Home away from home
The moment we arrived , we were impressed by the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were incredible. It was "home" to us for the entire month, conveniently located close to kids and grandkids. We plan to return next year, perhaps for two months.

Another great stay!
This was our second time staying here, and just as perfect as our first. See my previous review (May 2022) for lots of details. The best things about this place are the screened porch where you can hear and see the peaceful pond and a wide variety of birds, the sleep-number bed that adjusts to give you the best night’s sleep, well-furnished and stocked rooms, and a very responsive host. He’d even fixed the shower door since our last stay. If it remains affordable for our budget, we will always stay here when visiting family in the area.
