'Good hotel with convenient proximity to the city center and a giant Aeon Mall. We were able to find lots of good food and shopping options within walking distance. Good breakfast with a large variety of both delicious and delicate Japanese and Western options. It’s also strategically located with access to public transportation for day trips to popular destinations around Kyoto. Would recommend!'

'Lovely hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The rooms were spotless with a lovely Japanese aesthetic - a little bit of Japanese culture was a really nice touch. The minibar items, although limited, were all complementary. We had a king bed and an extra bed for my 19 year old son - both were extremely comfortable and the sheets really crisp yet soft. I found it more comfortable than the Peninsula in Tokyo.
