'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." 'The location and price were good for our stay. The bed was awful, as were the linens. The room was not cleaned of straightened up after the first day. No blow dry in room, but got us one. No USB ports, which caused us to go buy additional plug ins for our devices. We won’t stay in another. Very disappointing.'
