'We arrived in the evening and we were welcomed very warmly by Bettina and her son. The view was amazing over Baños, very much worth the 15 mins hike up the mountain road. We felt more like being invited at a family, Bettina and Darwin personally cooked our diners which were always very delightful. 'Great hotel! Large rooms with good beds and a nice clean bathroom. The swimming pool, gym and spa are nice as well. I took a relaxing massage, very zen! "Rundown rooms, terrible breakfast. They had no boiled eggs and the omelets were made in an old pan that left black stuff on my egg... Rundown hotel room doors. The only thing OK is the pool area but overall it's just older Americans that prefer everything American while abroad. Step up Hilton! Time for a renovation of all the rooms"
