'We thoroughly enjoyed our family retreat to the North River Farmhouse.over the Labor day holiday! The farmhouse has been thoughtfully appointed with families in mind: from the comfortable beds and beautifully decorated gathering spaces to the ample 3 acre grounds with water views all around, this is now our family’s favorite Chesapeake Bay hideaway. The water front private pool, pier, yard games, fire pit, along with indoor games, books and a fully stocked kitchen exceeded all our expectations....

'This was an annual Cousins trip. 5 ladies 70 and older and one in her 50s. This house was perfect for us to sit and talk and enjoy each other’s company. The living room has plenty of comfortable sitting and a nice farm table for meals. Unfortunately for us weather was rainy and cool so we were not able to enjoy the lovely porch and patio area.
