'Perfect little hideaway to ride out a record-dumping spring snowstorm. Location halfway between Stowe and Jay Peak, easy access, amenities nearby. Lovely setting, quiet. Eric was a congenial and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.'

'We’ve stayed at this cottage four times now - great location - Dave is a good host and communicates well. Peaceful spot and can’t beat the view. It’s also easy to get to Burlington or across to New York depending on what you’re looking to do.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away.'

'This was the second time we stayed at this cozy cottage on Mallets Bay. We love the location, close to Burlington, and the view from the cottage is gorgeous! Beverly and Gordon are friendly hosts and responded right away to any questions we had. We will most certainly be back again!'

'Beds were comfortable and the 3 season porch was a great place to unwind. We enjoyed the view of the water from the house. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes. At night we could hear tree frogs calling on the other side of the road, which was fun. There's also a park nearby with walking trails, and a grocery store close by. Zachary's Pizza is also close and we had an excellent pizza there. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Burlington. A very relaxing place to stay, so glad we found it!'

'I had a great experience at this property! It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, and made a a great home base. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as far as dining ware and cookware goes. We needed to call Albert to turn up the heat, but he arrived promptly and was very pleasant to interact with. We loved the decor of the place, and would love to return if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.'

'Our second stay at Baxter's Hideaway was just as wonderful as the first. Albert is very responsive. The property very clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the bike trail is great. With beautiful weather we meandered along Church Street Marketplace in Burlington each night (highly recommend!). If you want to eat dinner in Burlington we recommend making reservations well in advance. We will definitely return again next fall!'

'Heron Dance cottage was a quiet and peaceful getaway. In a great location, this cottage was well outfitted for preparing meals, contained comfortable furniture and the bed was firm. The views out to the Lake were exceptional. The landing and the way down to the Lake made for easy swimming. Jan was friendly and approachable. The neighborhood roads facilitated daily walks. We highly recommend this property.'
