'My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

'The view was amazing! Clean and nicely decorated. In saying that, There were no pots and pans, knife to food prep with and no can opener in the kitchen. I purchased a set of pots and pans and a can opener. All of my food in the fridge spoiled. I had to throw it all away the fridge was not cold enough and needed to be repaired. They need to update there mattress it sunk in the middle and was very uncomfortable.'

'This was our 5th visit to Boothbay as a family and our 2nd stay at this property. We absolutely love the central location, the house has everything you need, clean, and a/c units if needed. Oh and washer and dryer which is essesntial when traveling with kiddos in my opinion. I did notice some other mentioned the stairs to get up to the condo which didn’t bother us at all BUT could deter someone if stairs are a problem. We will be back!!! Thanks for hosting us!'

It is very close to the main house so not sure how private it would be if someone was staying at the main house at the same time especially since the window facing the main house has no shade. 'We had a great time staying at this location. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else.
