'The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

'Perfect for a family ski weekend. The house is located right across the street from the ski area. There is a shuttle but it is totally walkable. The house was well kept and spotless. There is a gas fireplace which keeps the living room nice and warm. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was running smoothly and we were happy. 'I absolutely loved being at the Wee Hobbit House, Scottlandyard in Brooktondale, NY. I am a 70 year old woman and went to upstate NY to spend time with my daughter and grandson. Was a perfect location for me... 10 minutes from my daughter, Dandy Mart on the way for coffee and gas. I mention 70 year old because the upstairs bedroom was not something I could manage, but I slept on the couch downstairs and was very comfortable. Tanya was super as a co-host. 'The property and owners were top notch. It was clean and fully stocked. There was nothing we needed once we were settled. The sauna was an added bonus. The owner, Caryn, and her son were available and helpful throughout the process. The surrounding area is lovely. We were in town for a baseball tournament for my oldest son. The Greek Peak resort and mountain coaster was minutes away. I would recommend this place highly. We cannot wait to come back in the winter to ski.'

'My family of 3 and another family of 4 stayed at the house and it was perfect! The house was very clean with comfortable beds and looked just like the pics. The owner was very responsive whenever I messaged. The provided towels & linens as well as coffee and other supplies was a very nice touch! We went into Binghamton on Friday night and went skiing at Greek Peak all day on Saturday. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming to the area!'
