'Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. 'Perfect place for what we needed'

'My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. 'Overall we had a great time at this cabin. The pictures don't do it justice, it is HUGE. There was plenty of room for all 19 of us and the basement was amazing for all the kids. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! The porches were amazing, the hot tub was great and you could hear a stream somewhere off in the woods! So relaxing! We went on the Polar Express while we were there. It was about 40 min drive but it was an easy to navigate to...

'The host was very responsive and flexible with our changing arrival time. Everything was great at the home and we had a good night's sleep. We appreciate the host turning on the heat prior to our arrival as the area had a cold snap that weekend. We definitely book again if back in the area.'

'This cabin was near what we wanted to do: visit Cherokee and hike in the mountains. It was also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The porch overlooking the river was spectacular. The cabin had a "woodsy" feel to it and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Clint was communicative as needed. We especially appreciate that he contacted us promptly when he discovered that we left a pair of glasses behind. He offered to send them to us and refused payment, event for postage.'
