'If you’re just using this home as a base for things like Grand Haven, Lake Michigan, Michigan’s Adventure, this is a great place. Lots of space for multiple families. Outside of home needs a lot of TLC including backyard. Inside was clean but beds were old and couches were pretty uncomfortable. Didn’t use the kayaks as the launch point is a couple blocks walk and didn’t want to deal with that.'

'The cottage was awesome, located in between Holland and Grand Haven. It was a short drive to different areas for hiking or shopping, and a short walk to the beach or Lake Michigan. We loved the property and we loved how cozy the cottage was. Even during rain days, there was plenty to do inside including board games and movie nights. 'The lake and beach were so beautiful! The house was great to except for the electrical problems that caused the breaker to trip. We couldn’t have two appliances on at the same time in the kitchen or a breaker would trip and that caused the TV and internet to go out! We moved things around and made it work. 'This is the place for you if you want a cozy, clean, historic cottage with million dollar views and direct access to Lake Michigan. As a historic cottage it is not luxurious or perfect, but IS comfortable and cool. We had several quirky little things come up, but the owner responded quickly and resolved promptly. As we had mild spring weather while there, we did not need to use either heat or A/C. The cottage is nicely furnished but the livingroom sofa cushions tend to sink when seated there....

'Traveled to Grand Rapids for a girls trip. The apartment was clean and as advertised with a fully stocked kitchen, coffee etc. Detailed instructions for check in/out were sent in a timely manner. Beds were fairly comfy and we had plenty of space to spread out. The only thing that might have been helpful was a luggage cart or trolly as we had lots of stuff and it was quite a dostance from parking garage to apt. Overall i would definitely stay here again!'
