'We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. 'The location is ideal, and centrally located to the downtown, lake area, and nearby attractions. The interior is very well maintained. The layout itself is small but not cramped. There are some oddities such as the two doors to the main bathroom and the kitchen switch being behind one of the bedroom doors but they do not detract from the overall experience. 'The property is exactly as advertised, clean farmhouse (old home with all the creaks and charm you'd expect from an old farmhouse) but it's meticulously maintained with fresh paint, and it's got everything you need. The hosts are very experienced and prepared the property expertly. We really had no issues at all - the only surprise if for someone who isn't regularly staying in a duplex - the sounds can carry - but again - nothing to worry about- just something people may experience.
