'We were looking for a peaceful and quiet location to get away for the weekend. Host keeps this houseboat very clean! It was exactly what we looking for. Peaceful river and we also enjoyed a little fishing right off the boat.'

The cottage continued to delight as we became even more familiar with what the area had to offer. Kim was an excellent hostess as were her on-site assistants. 'Beautifully decorated, modern, spic n span. This gem has all the necessities you would need to spend a relaxing time on the water. Close to town with restaurants to meet any desires from sandwiches to steaks. Take a walk along Lake Monroe enjoying the outdoors. Enjoyed our stay and will probably return.'

'My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates!'
