'We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. The boat is docked in a channel off the main river so not a lot of boat traffic and the currents...

'Firstly, Cpt Ron is a sweetheart ❤. The original boat cookie B was unavailable so we stayed on the Kayla Leigh instead. Captain Ron is very friendly and informative, we enjoyed the stay and chatting with him and his lovely wife. It was my first time on a small boat overnight and it takes a little getting used to being a tall girl, 😁 outside of adjusting to the shower/toilet situation I had a great stay! Highly recommended and I would book again. '

'The property is an entire boat, with kitchen and bathroom. Very nicely renovated. Great location between Richmond and Williamsburg. Very friendly reception by operator, who provided accurate and helpful tips. We were sorry that we could stay only one night, we would have loved to stay longer. 'Our stay at Eugene’s listing was great. We had a few hiccups but Eugene was an incredible host and navigated us through the slight hiccups. The hot water ran out on our first night but Eugene promptly provided troubleshooting steps that resolved the issue for the remainder of our stay. The home is cozy, quaint, and exactly as depicted. It’s also very clean and spacious. It is near train tracks with cargo trains running periodically throughout the day and night but it didn’t bother us. I myself...
