'Cute apartment in the journal square area. Close to path about a 5 min walk. Took the path to get into Hoboken and downtown jersey city. Parking definitely a challenge-we parked our car in the Journal square parking garage $60 for 2 nights. That was about a 5 min walk as well. The apartment is a great little place. Pictures of apartment are very accurate. Perfect for what we were looking for. Roof top is amazing-the view of NYC skyline was seriously beautiful. We sat up there for drinks both...

'We love this property. The overall environment looks like a hotel. The host is also very nice and will remind us of alternate street parking.'

'The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all basic amenities from kitchenware to toiletries. It has a very cabin-y feel and definitely made every one in the group feel at home. We didn't feel very safe at night in the area, outside the apartment though. Apartment itself does feel secure and we didn't actually witness anything shady happen. But if you're travelling with family, I'd recommend staying alert.'

'Overall had a nice stay at this apartment. Here are a few inaccuracies, though, that made a difference for my family: the listing says first floor but this is on the 3rd floor, there was no coffee maker, and there was no twin futon (only two loveseat couches). Also, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 3 nights. Otherwise the apartment was clean and spacious and had most other amenities you would need! Neighborhood was great and there was lots of parking available.'

'Each year, myself and 3 other friends take a trip together. We researched thoroughly and chose this VRBO because of its clean look and close proximity to a NYC bound train station. We were to check in on Sunday, July 23 and stay until Thursday July 27. We all drove together and I messaged the host when we left to let them know we were on the way. A few hours later, I received a message that there was a flood issue and our reservation had been cancelled. I had to spend 3 hours of our trip trying...

'Mislead on the second bedroom and bathroom! Lost communications with host towards middle to end of stay. We booked a 3 week stay for business. This trip was for business not pleasure and was extremely inconvenienced throughout the entire stay. Looking to be compensated for the 2nd half of our stay and we also checked out 2 days early.'

'The first night I stayed, the bathtub was already clogging up. There was a lot of dust in plain sight. The time for checkout was 11am but we got a message from the owner at 9am saying the password would expire at 10am, when clearly in the booking check out was 11am. All this was very inconvenient. '
