'We’d stayed at this property in the past, and on our return trip it did not disappoint. Lovely location, easy walk to an uncrowded beach. The amenities were super, particularly the pool and hot tub. The only difficulty was having to leave at the end of our week’s stay.'

'Cottage has an open layout which makes it feel bigger. Fenced in yard and the big front porch were perfect for our dogs. Cottage is in a great location, across from beach entrance. First time in Nags Head and loved it! Would rent here again!'

'This was a really wonderful surprise property for our beach weekend trip. The house was comfortable and clean, with everything you could need tucked away. It had card games and board games and the couches and chairs were comfortable. The beach was just a short walk away and the wagon and chairs provided helped make that super easy. 5 stars overall!'

'Beautiful brand new home very well equipped for the entire family. Our 14y and 11y old really enjoyed the freedom of going to the local bakery and ice cream shop on the bikes that came with the house. The outdoor shower was great to keep the sand away from the house. Our family appreciated the proximity to the beach and the historical villages. A wonderful stay!'

'We had a wonderful stay. Billy offered to let us check in early when we arrived at 1 PM. The cottage was classic OBX. It was beautifully decorated clean and just what our family afford. Our two little dogs loved the area. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but was just down for a wedding. We all agreed that we would enjoy a longer stay next time. Definitely want to come back.'

'My husband and I and our dog Luna stayed here for the weekend. It was the perfect location for what we wanted-a relaxing, comfortable, get-away weekend. We loved being in this part of Corolla, especially in the off-season. No traffic, easy access to uncrowded beaches for driving and hanging out. The cottage's location near Historic Corolla Park was perfect. We could walk across the road to see the sunset on the sound as well as climb the lighthouse for amazing views. A cute shopping/restaurant...

'The Lil Surf Shack was perfect for our little family of 3. We had plenty of space and everything was well stocked to suit our needs. The location was perfect! The beds/mattresses could use a little TLC but otherwise, we loved this little place. We will definitely consider staying here again should we ever find ourselves back that way again.'

'The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...

'Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!'
