'Our family stayed in this historic property for a celebration of life of family members who passed away recently. The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. 'This house has even more space and charm than the photos convey! The house is situated on a nice, quiet street in a lovely area. I loved the roominess, tasteful decor, the screened porch and yard and more. The hosts were communicative and responsive to every need. In fact, they seemed to anticipate every need and desire ahead of time. This has been the best experience and we would stay here again and again!'

'Very cozy cabin, nicely decorated. There were many extras provided by the hosts such as tea and spices and soaps. We took advantage of the firepit out front. No cell signal but wifi and roku provided. We had a lovely visit. Confirm that linens and towels are provided. We did not see that on the listing but did receive an email from the hosts that we needed to bring our own linens. Maybe it was because it was off season.'

'The property sits perfectly tucked in the mountains. Wonderful scenery, we saw bald eagles perched enjoying morning coffee. The river being so close to the house makes for a very calming atmosphere. I would absolutely visit this property again.'

'This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. We loved it and look forward to the next visit!'

'There was some confusion over reservation but host took care if it. Problem with water but host was getting it taken care of. Location was nice. Very steep dirt grassy driveway. Rain and snow could make it difficult if not impossible to to get up. No check in or check out instructions. No large garbage can outside. With all yhis said the host did all he could do to make sure we had what we needed.'
