'Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.'

'Excellent hotel very conveniently located close to the old city center of Dubrovnik. The hotel is recently renovated, and very clean. Food in the restaurants is very tasty. 'We rented a studio for 3 nights. Location is fantastic, on a quiet street in the old town. We walked everywhere. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a few grocery stores. The studio was a bit small for two people but had a well stocked kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Check in was super easy. We appreciated the free washer and dryer downstairs. '

'What a wonderful introduction to Croatia. The apartment is beautiful. Better than the pictures. It is quaint, clean, perfectly located and the walls and restaurants are just outside. It’s a short walk from two fortress gates. There are stairs, but that’s old world Europe. '

'The Pucic Palace I see as a hotel de charme. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were there in April 2022, so a bit early in the season. As such their outside terrace (elevated one) was not yet open. Breakfast was good with some special touches. Only downside I can think of there is no lounge to sit and read.
