'The Hotel Viata was a clean, accommodating, boutique hotel. We were there for a close-friends funeral, but the kindness of your staff and the overall experience was extremely pleasing. '

'The property is in great condition. It's clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and the area felt safe. Bryan, the host, was quick to respond to the one minor issue we had. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I felt like we got a good deal considering how much space we were given a bedroom plus a private living area where we were able to sit and visit. We also enjoyed time on the front porch, listening to nature and watching the locals walk by. '

The only thing I’d have changed with this stay is that the blind salamander was closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there so just plan accordingly if you plan to stay and want to eat here. The paint used in the elevators has a very strong odor as well. Other than that, all is perfect! Local restaurant we attended was Carve and it was amazing. '

'The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting...

At night it was definitely lively and there would’ve been plenty of bars for me to go to if I wasn’t so cozy in the room. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was very clean, I can’t say enough about how polite and engaging the staff was. I would absolutely Choose to stay here again on my next trip to Austin in a couple months.'
