'This apartment is a good fit for Charleston: quaint but updated with modern necessities. In addition to cleaning and nicely decorating, the management tends to details such as umbrellas next to the door, snacks and coffee in the kitchen, and toiletries in the bathrooms. 'This "hotel" is basically a weekly rental owned by a slum lord, that is taking advantage of lower class people. I had mixed interactions with staff. The guy that inspects rooms is a total jerk. The lady in the office was the only bright side of the stay. They do not clean rooms, "that is your job" they provide 1 roll t.p. and one floor towel...rest is up to you. All utensils provided by YOU. The pictures in the ad are fake, taken from a magazine or images online. Pest control sprays on...

'We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. '
