'The hotel location is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Prices for food etc., are a little high, but considering where it is and the hotel "star" rating - anticipated. Surprisingly they do not offer a corkage service if you bring your own wine, so don't do this as they will take the bottle and return it to you when you leave.'

'Perfecte uitvalsbasis om York en omgeving te ontdekken. We voelden ons gelijk op ons gemak bij aankomst. De kamer en badkamer zijn heel schoon. Ontbijten kan bij mooi weer buiten.De wandeling naar het strand duurt ruim 10 minuten en is goed te doen. Op 5 minuten lopen zit een leuk restaurant waar je lekker kan eten.'

'Don't be mistaken by first impressions as you drive up to this property. I'd like to call it a diamond in the rough. The host/owner, Bob will admit the property needs substantial renovations to the exterior but don't be misled. The property has it's charm and the location cannot be beat for the price. Park your car and forget it. Everything is within easy walking distance. This is our second time for this property and will definitely try to stay again next year. '

'This is the second time staying at this house & once again it did not disappoint. There is so much room inside: the kitchen is large & well equipped; the beds are comfy & the variety of games & puzzles made for fun nights & lots of laughter.
