'It's a hostel! Don't expect room service. But it was exactly what we were looking for (cheap room). The added attraction for us was the fact that it is a 125-year-old house. It was great getting to experience sleeping on the floor on futons. As with most hostels, the toilet and bathroom are "down the hall." 'The room is larger than it looks on the photo. Our family of 4 has a lot of space to move about and even a living room /dining area. The location is walkable distance from Kyoto Station but do prepare a walk for a bit, but it's also quiet, good for resting after a day of touring /shopping.'
