'Nice location to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The view of Peaks of the Otter was beautiful. The owners are friendly and attentive to any needs you might have. The Sanctuary was well appointed and was a great respite.'

'Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

'Very, very clean house with everything you need to cook including a Thermador stove. Restaurants are steps away and include Sushi, Pizza, Greek and Bar food. Beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely patterns. Dog friendly home with fenced in yard in back. Close to VMI and Washington and Lee universities.'

'I booked this home for my daughter to take her kids on a spring break trip. It was the perfect choice for us. Their plans included taking in a baseball game at Liberty University, frisbee golf, pickleball and a trip to Safari Land. This was the perfect house for them in the right location. The host was very open and easy to reach. We received a great Welcome Guide. The kids loved it so much they asked if we could come back for a summer trip! Would totally book this great home again!'

'We stayed with 2 families for College for a Weekend and Liberty University. We had plenty of space and the spilt bedroom plan worked great for 2 different families being there. Everything we needed was there. Very convenient to the University (less than 10 mins) and there is a grocery store less than a mile away'

'Very clean and accommodating. Inside is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the older charm of the house. The door lock is complicated. I never did fully figure it out and had difficulty every time. Hurt my manliness, lol. The sofa bed sheet did not fit and had to make due until the next day when sheets that fit were provided. We indicated in the reservation that we had 9 guests. But there were towels for 6. We had to make due until more towels were provided the next day. None of these things...
