'This was the perfect get away for the two of us. We flew in from KY and were happy to see lots of amenities in the kitchen and bathroom that we couldn’t bring with us on the plane. Everything was clean and nicely decorated and in good condition. The sheets and towels were good quality. The bed was a bit soft but didn’t keep us from a good nights sleep. The donkeys were cute and the pen was kept clean so even though they were close, there wasn't a smell. Their braying only happened occasionally...

'We had very relaxing days around the pool oasis. The king bed was very comfy. The host was welcoming. We enjoyed nearby Brown’s Ranch biking and hiking. The town of Carefree offers great dining, a nice community feel and desert gardens. Overall a great experience.'

'We stayed here for a couple of months while getting treatment at nearby Mayo Clinic (20 min.). It was a perfect location; rural, yet close to everything. By choice, the community has dirt roads, which meant low/slow traffic.... Perfect for daily walks among the eclectic homes and horse stables. Shared an apple every evening with the horse across the lane. The Casita had everything we needed....or else it was quickly provided upon request. Owner/Manager was super responsive to anything needing...
