'My husband and I brought our newborn for his first trip away from home, and we picked the perfect home for it! It was very clean and quiet, and it was helpful to have access to a laundry machine. We were so pleasantly surprised at how a home that can accommodate/slerp 22 was truly spacious enough to be together without being on top of each other and the views were spectacular! 'This was the best setup we could have hoped for - Four Fields was in a beautiful, quiet spot, the house was very clean and a great size, and everything in the kitchen and elsewhere was well-stacked. 'The home is situated in a great location. The back of the house faces the Robinson River - it's a very nice view. There are trails leading down to the river, a private pond, fire pits in several locations (unfortunately we couldn't use the fire pits because of the wildfires but I imagine it could be fun especially the one close to the river). There are hammocks everywhere, plenty of space for kids and dogs to run around. The home is rustic, lots of natural light and equipped with a fireplace....

'I couldn't tell from the photos how close the house is to the road, and I was concerned that cars might make noise or runover the dog. The house is tucked back from the road on a rise over a small field, surrounded by trees on three sides. The road was not problem at all. You couldn't see it or hear it. The fire pit has nice Adirondack chairs around it.'

We had some difficulty with the front door lock because the battery was low and the TV remote batteries were dead. The bed is very firm and not comfortable at all. 'We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub.
