'Great area to stay. We saw horses 5 days of our stay. House was as expected in pics. Well stocked with paper products, spices, condiments. Owner was responsive and offered early check in to us. House layout was great. We all enjoyed the house and area and highly recommend!'

'Dan is a wonderful host. The house is very well decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The size of the rooms were good. The kids had a nice cozy room. We were 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 pups and we didnt get to use one room with a king bed. Dan was very prompt in his responses. The house location is perfect. It is a very short drive to the beach. 'The home enabled us to enjoy our stay in the Outer Banks. We were unfamiliar with the area and the 4X4 beach driving, but love learning new things. The weather was not the best, but with the comforts of the home, we were had a relaxing time playing games, enjoying the hot tub and binge watching TV. The place is quite clean. And I am very picky about that. So thank you for ensuring a comfortable stay.'

Kids used the hot tub and pool in early April, which is a bonus because a lot of rentals won’t begin heating the pool until mid-April, so this is a huge bonus. Thank you for a great time!'

'Our stay was amazing. The house was perfect for our group of 14, everything was clean and in working order. The outdoor amenities were also fantastic. As far as location goes, I’m not sure it could have been better. Far enough away from the more touristy areas, but still had plenty of fun things for the kids to do. All the restaurants in the area were great. We had no complaints about our stay.'

'This was the perfect place for us. Traveled with a variety of ages. Everyone had their own space and things to keep them busy. The pool was a favorite of everyone. The short, easy walk to the beach was great. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you could think of as far as appliances and gadgets. It was so easy and enjoyable to prepare meals for a large group. Everything was clean and in great shape. The couches were super comfy. Beds were fine. Lots of extra blankets and pillows....

There were spider webs in many rooms. One thing to consider is the distance to the beach. It is a hike to get to the beach so be aware especially if you have kids. Also, there were no instructions in the house for things like trash pick-up days (Wednesdays & Saturdays). Overall we all enjoyed our stay :)'

The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...
