Expedia sucks. I booked flights, hotel and airport transfer with them. Airline canceled my flight and Expedia did not help with rebooking flight, shuttle or hotel. There's no point in using them. I spent about 10 hours calling/emailing everyone. I got a flight for the next day but neither Expedia or hotel would credit or refund the first night. All-inclusive rates are not cheap. I also paid extra on Expedia for the flight so that I could pick seats. When the airline changed my flight, they said I only paid for Economy with no right to choose seats and they didn't receive seat fees so I would have to pay to choose seats. So when you see tiers of Economy on Expedia (Basic Economy, Economy, etc.), know that the airline doesn't have the same categories or recognize the Expedia categories. Otherwise, the resort is good. Very friendly staff, good food, beautiful beach, big pool and clean rooms. Beach has seaweed but staff clean it and it's a minor nuisance. Hotel told us before we arrived that restaurants had dress codes but then they said no when we asked at checked in. No one enforced a dress code. We made dinner reservations once we checked in. We didn't get our first few choices but we still got bookings at a decent dinner hour. Buffet was good for breakfast and lunch but not for dinner. We tried Mexican, Italian and Argentinian for dinner and all were good. The rooms didn't have a door separating the bathroom and no teens club.

The floor around the pool area is so slippery I fell and twisted my ankle and hurt my shoulder. No one asked if I was okay. And the shrimp tacos was contaminated with norovirus. I was sick 5 out of the 7 days.

We have been vacationing at this property for 19 years. In those 19 years we have vacationed here 34 times. The property exudes a homey-Mexican atmosphere with an emphasis on service. Fernanda, the head of concierge services, is very approachable and responsive to your needs. We would like to make special mention of the waiters Reyes and Alejandro as well as Chef Miguel. We felt very safe in that the grounds are well patrolled and there are cameras in all public spaces. The ocean currents are rather tricky in Cancun but they have an experienced lifeguard staff (Abel, Esalud and Eduardo) to oversee your safety. The yoga program is excellent; master Pada provides a spiritual dimension to the classes. To round out your vacation, take advantage of a full line of spa services. We look forward to our return.

After staying in 6 different hotel around cancun and PDC the Fiesta Americana Condesa was about average but the price was higher than most. I thought a high price would have more to offer or better food or something for the extra money, but I only feel like I got less. Too much of this hotel is for members only or have an extra cost, most of the Cabanas were empty the entire week my son and I were there and we were told they were for members only or we would have to pay for them, also large portions of the hotel were closed for several hours Friday and Saturday due to private weddings. The best thing about this hotel is the employees, a lot of them were extremely helpful and kind. Overall I don't think my family will return to this hotel due to not enough value for the price.

Lovely garden within the building, overall good quality dining options, cleanliness is really outstanding, nightly shows are varied and entertaining. A la carte restaurant are overall good, but the 'pizza' on the Italian restaurant is a disgrace, there is no excuse for an establishment of this level to not have a decent pizza crust, the one they offer is more like a cracker, so sad. Something to keep in mind is that this is a smaller kind of resort, so there aren't that many places to walk or take the children out to other than the pool and maybe to play on the sand on the beach, but forget about going in the beach with kids, the waves make it impossible and even dangerous. it's worth mentioning the strange 'spoon policy' on the main buffet, for some reason they give a particular number of spoons to the service staff and if they don't return them whole they get reprimanded, so if you want/need a spoon you have to specifically ask for one, which gets annoying by the second day. Also, if you aren't blonde with blue eyes the wait staff treat you differently, it's quite jarring the difference on how they treat those they perceive as foreign (waaaay better than the rest). If you are looking for a more laid back experience mostly spending your days in or around the pool and taking advantage of the restaurants this place is a great option.

We recently just stayed here, it was our first time and we really enjoyed it! The staff were attentive and the services were great. The day and night time activities were ok, but it is definitely more family focused so not a resort for anyone looking to party. For food we loved the buffet and the Italian restaurant there, the only restaurant to avoid is San Telmo, the steaks we had were disgusting. Also, our AC wasn’t working for 2 days and after complaining multiple times they finally switched our rooms, so that was frustrating. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Would give it a 7.5/10.

Beautiful location, spacious and airy - the inner courtyards with greenery and fish stream were lovely. Most of the staff were great though there were some inconsistencies regarding follow through on requests. Disappointed in the quality of the Mexican and Steak House restaurants, the Italian Restaurant, the Buffett and the outdoor Cerviche restaurant were great. Lots of entertainment but hard at times to figure out the schedule.

The staff was top notch! The property was decent; could use some upgrades. What I didn’t like was we were at an all inclusive resort, however, there was up charges for food. That didn’t feel right. What I like was the abundance of beach lounges and seating availability around the pools and the beach! The food was okay, not bad, not great. Would definitely go back again!

Had really rude staff a couple of times — were made fun on in Spanish. I understand Spanish so that was you guys’ mistake thinking I didn’t understand — we made TWO complaints and apparently the first “never happened” so we asked so see the cameras to show you guys and apparently no one has access to the cameras.
