This place isn’t to party. You can’t be by the pool and play music off your speaker. (we got in trouble for doing that) They don’t play music either. They closed the beach at 6pm! Forced everyone to go to the hotel/pool. What is that? The pool is small, and only has about 12-15 chairs tops. Bars close at 11, so you can’t get any kind of drinks after that. No vending machines or anything open. If you’re with a family, I guess it’s ideal
 but other than that, I’d stay somewhere else.

Two days mechanics working on my air conditioning because we didn’t have air. Had to sleep last night, mechanics coming in and out of my room when I needed to shower Or even just relax, they kept giving us excuses about the air conditioning, not working Waiter at buffet gave us a dirty look because we asked for Our coffee she brought us coffee and when we reminded her, she literally gave us a dirty look right in my face

I have stayed at Flamingo Cancun 8 times over the past 30 years. The bigger resorts are swankier, but i like the smaller size of Flamingo. I'm not worn out walking back & forth from my room to the beach.

CancĂșn en si ya es garantĂ­a para admirar sus bellezas, el hotel si bien es una construcciĂłn con cierto tiempo se ve con buen mantenimiento, su ubicaciĂłn es ideal y se encuentra cerca de todo lo atractivo de CancĂșn, especialmente de plaza la isla, tiene buena conexiĂłn de trasporte y en general estuvo agradable mi estancia.

I will never forgive the horrible week spent at Flamingo. Instead of being happy and enjoying with family, I spent my wedding week at their front desk trying to sort out all the issues from broken ACs, staff rudeness, cancelled reservations for my family and friends. The day before my wedding I was worried about where my 86 year old grandma was going to sleep because of their lack of planning and customer service. I trusted this hotel by recommending it to my guests and the experience was awful. It was embarrassing that I recommended Flamingo. It’s so sad that this is what most mexicans traveling to cancun can afford in our own country. The price difference is there for a reason, sadly. Rude, close minded staff, horrible food at the 2 tiny restaurants that makes you wait 40 minutes to sit down, room service that charges you 90 pesos PER ITEM they bring you so yes, cans of soda are included in the all inclusive package but if you want 5 cans brought to your room they will charge almost 500 pesos to bring them. ACs that don’t work, hotel staff gossiping or trying to sell things to guests starting at 7AM right outside your door. This hotel claims they can’t do you any favors due to their policy but doesn’t have any issues ignoring their policy of honoring a contract and give you a room you paid for. Flamingo robbed my family monetarily and from being able to be happy together at the beach which was a once in a lifetime trip for all of us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Es un hotel para turistas de bajo presupuesto y cumple con lo esperado, si se tardan 10 minutos en asignarte mesa del restaurante pero es normal en restaurantes de ciudad, todo su personal se esmera en atenderte bien. A veces en el bar se tardan pero a todos le preparan lo que piden. Las instalaciones no son lujosas pero tiene una hermosa playa con palmeras, es mi quinta vez aquĂ­ y si regreso.

The beach was perfect but the service was awful. It should not be classified as an all inclusive everything cost extra including simply having drinks in the refrigerator in your room. You can only get one drink at a time and they will not fill water bottles. There was never any ice in the ice machine. The buffet food was below average and no one ever ask me if i would like a drink. We decided to eat at 10:30 one night , the restaurant closed at 11 as soon as we sat to eat the staff was flickering the lights as if to rush us out of there. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the security walking around at night shining there flashlights on everyone and being on the beach blowing a whistle at everyone and telling everyone where to swim. I read the negative reviews about this property before I booked it and decided i would judge for myself and even splurged on a swim up suite for added privacy but there was none.

Hotel was good! Love the staff super friendly and the good was super delicious. The cleanness also was good areas were kept clean. The only thing I would say it needs it more entertaining and also music around the hotel. Besides that everything was wonderful stay.

our AC did not work. the manager repeatedly told us it was fixed, but was not. the food was horrible. the staff wasnt accomodating. and when truing to book an excursion the conceirge mislead us. the only nice thing about this plasce was the that it had a nice beach

This hotel was truly amazing! The Beach in front of it looks unreal and the hotel is beautifully styled. The only thing I can really criticize is the WiFi. I don’t know if the hotel can do anything about it but at some places at the hotel it doesn’t work. As if there were reception holes. But other than that we had an amazing stay.

The staff was very friendly, especially the bartenders and waitresses. However I would not recommend staying there, the hotel shuts down its pool, restaurants, and bar at 10:50. And my first night there they gave me a room without AC, they couldn’t do anything until the morning it was extremely hot.

The positives
 Beautiful view. Water is spectacular! Now the rest
 Horrible food, we ended eating off resort after our first night. We either walked to a restaurant close by, or went downtown a mile. Buffet was inedible to us. The only decent food on site was a hotdog, hamburger stand we ate at a couple times. There is a pizza place which is average at best. Bars close way too early, and the have limited variety of alcohol. They are slow and not all that friendly. The rest of the staff is somewhat unfriendly, with the exception of the cleaning staff. Those ladies were great. Hotel is old and could use updates, but it was clean. This is a no smoking resort, if you want to smoke, you have to walk outside to the street. If you get caught smoking, the fine is steep. Someone did get caught our second night on their balcony.. $250 US dollar fine. Tons of locals at this resort, only met a handful of individuals on vacation\holiday. The pictures they show are very misleading. I will not return nor would I recommend this resort to anyone.

I can’t believe you are actually affiliated with this hotel. This was the worst. It was very misleading in regards to all inclusive accommodation. I tried calling express my concerns to the management team, he hung up on me. They have to pay for certain meals and it was the same boring menu everyday.

This property needs better management and honestly it shouldn’t be an all inclusive. You can see what they are trying to do there but it’s not working. The views are the best part the food is good slightly childish but you can tell they are not staffed or supplied enough to do what they are TRYING to do. It’s a competitive world out there remember tourism bring money not only catering more efficiently to their own kind. Loved the views tho ! Do better guys make people feel like there’s more to do and please have some entertainment for the people who don’t want to go out try activities games lure people in

Our first experience in Cancun at the flamingo Cancun all inclusive resort. One of the worst experiences so far in all the travel’s we have done to Mexico. We had booked a swim up all inclusive but Upon arriving front desk person stated we only booked for the room, after going back and forth nothing was done, they mentioned we had to buy food and drinks at the resort and we were not allowed to buy food or drinks outside of the resort. We had reserved a room with a king size bed and swim up we received two queens Instead when addressing the issue they stated it was only a possibly we would get a king bed. When getting to the room a/c not cold enough. Upon using the restroom door handle broken hence fell off when opening the door, toilet did not flush well after a few uses would stop flushing , no shower door water all over the floor. Swim ups are on the first floor guests tend to be nosey in the hallway screaming and knocking on doors noise goes on past midnight. No entertainment at the resort Beach was beautiful but all the hotels on the strip where the flamingo is located have access to the beach would recommend a different resort. Out of our 5 day stay we stayed one night and instead went to isla mujeres for the rest of the nights
