We were 3 families, 3 rooms 1122 1124 1115 1122 front view of ocean 1124 front view of ocean 1115 view of ocean towards rocks/jetties All 3 rooms had yellow water come out of sink faucet. Hot water took forever to heat up. Restaurants are only open on several days. Not all beach umbrellas are free to use. There are some that are exactly as the free ones but for a charge. Concierge is pesky about showing property for what Imagine is for time share proposals. Breakfast is good

El horario de entrega de la habitaciĂłn se puede adelantar siempre y cuando haya disponibilidad por ello es necesario solicitarlo previamente para podernos anticipar a su llegada. En cuanto a la actitud del Bartender vamos a revisarlo con nuestro jefe de bares. Nuestro personal de cocina se esfuerza por ofrecer opciones variadas durante su estancia, sabemos que es dificil complacer todos los gustos pero tomamos su retroalimentaciĂłn para mejorar y esperamos tener el honor de estar a su servicio nuevamente pronto.

My boyfriend and I went for my birthday. Our stay was great the staff was amazing, especially the girl working in take-a-bite, and so was our room. For my birthday dinner we went to the grill the service was kinda slow and the food was ok. But the next day we went to Ayami and did hibachi, the food was fantastic and our chef Hervi and server Eduardo were amazing, definitely made up for the day before. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The beach area at the property was stunning, -beautiful and clean. Great location. walking distance to clubs, short drive from airport. The staff at the hotel were not friendly. Everyone seemed to know their job function, but they had no personality and did not know how to interact with guests. Wait time at restaurants were long.

ReservĂ© para festejar el fin de semana de cumpleaños y se los hice saber a el ĂĄrea de concierge prometiendo una amenidad especial por ser miembro Gold y al llegar no solo no tuvieron ninguna amenidad, mi habitaciĂłn estaba sucia y para que me hicieran el cambio a otra habitaciĂłn fue todo un show y ademĂĄs la habitaciones estĂĄn en decadencia , todo viejo y oxidado . Al dĂ­a siguiente en la mañana me despertaron con una llamada porque se les olvidĂł darme el kit de bienvenida y en general la experiencia fue mala . La comida equis, intentĂ© reservar cena de cumpleaños en algĂșn restaurante y que no se podĂ­a . Property itself was very nice. Staff worked very hard both inside and out on cleanliness. The only complaint I have is all of the cigarette butts left by people in the palapa areas. Resort needs to address this.

The beach wedding they had kept us up all night the night before the wedding for stage set up and the wedding was an all out party till 2:30 AM!!! What the heck! :( Also the APP to reserve a restaurant was basically useless. Beach was the only sure positive thing about the stay...

I would have rather stayed at a SUPER 8 MOTEL than this place. We ended up having to spend an extra thousand dollars at least because there was so much that was NOT actually all inclusive. The front desk was so rude the whole trip, room had one small light in the entry way/ bathroom aRea and a lamp. That’s it. The floor hadn’t been moped when we got to our room and there was no hot water in ours and both of our friends rooms. They said they would adjust the boiler but that did not happen. Our friends were on the beach just after sundown and got robbed at gun point the first night there. They came inside to talk to the resort and the resort said “you should know not to go on the beach at night. Just because our cabanas are there does not mean you’re on our property”. They did not care at all that our friends had guns pointed at them at the Krystal grand cabanas by men claiming to be the police. Then there’s the restaurants. You have to wait in an hour line at 8am every morning to try to get a reservation at one of the restaurants. IF you get one, a lot of the food and drink options aren’t included in the all inclusive package. You have to wait for a table to eat at the buffet & you’re not allowed to take food out of the buffet area. If you don’t want to wait to eat then you can use room service, it’s an extra fee every time and you can’t order more than five items. Inclusive food ends at 6 PM every night for outdoor areas and pools close at eight. No hot tubs. & bugs!!!!

We left the hotel today and our 8 years old was sad but our 4 years old was crying because he didn't want to go. If you want to relax and enjoy with your family, this is a great place: clean and with great service; by the beach; with a kids club (Nilza was super sweet and had different activities prepared for the kids, which gave us some free time without them); with a game room (for older kids or to play with them), really good food; and close to many places in walking distance in case you want to leave the resort (pharmacy, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, flea market, etc.). We will return!

We were not disappointed by the food. The buffet was excellent, the Italian restaurant was superb, and the Asian restaurant was a pleasure (at least at the hibachi table). Getting the reservations for the restaurants was a different story. The app they provided was unusable, would constantly crash, and was never able to make an actual reservation. True on both android and iphone. As long as your party isn't too big, you can get in without much of a wait. The longest we waited was an hour, and the shortest was 5 minutes. The rooms were well soundproofed, and comfortable. The mini fridge is a cooler, which worked for us, and is typical of most resorts down here. Beds slept well, and there was daily maid service and mini bar refreshers. The resort, as a whole, is crumbling a bit. Paint is peeling, and out of the 4 elevators, at times only 1 was working. Coffee machines at the buffet were constantly broken. The unheated pools were nice, but too cold for us to use this trip (temps dipped into the 70s the week we were there). The swim up bar has shade all day long, which is nice if you're Irish skinned like me. Fair amount of beach chairs available, but they disappear fast. Yes, people just leave their stuff on them for hours at a time while they're off doing something else, but not a day went by where we didn't eventually get one. Beautiful beach. Supermarket down the street if you want to grab something, like an $11 beach chair of your own. Not perfect, but not bad.

Let me start with the good, very nice beach, decent food, nice staff, good beds. NOW THE NEGATIVE, "DANGEROUS ELEVATORS"!!! My wife and I was on the elevator when it dropped an entire floor TWICE!! The hotel has 4 elevators and only two working and occasionally zero working. NIGHT FROM HELL. There was a wedding on the beach that not only blocked some beach chairs, they played VERY LOUD MUSIC UNTIL 2AM THAT BLASTED ONE SIDE OF THE HOTEL. IT WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE OTHER GUESTS. THEY ACTUALLY TURNED UP THE MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT. The resort is responsible for the extremely loud music. JUST DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seriously can not beat the location of this hotel. It is right at the top, largest beach area, quiet waves, breathtaking! With that being said it won’t take long for you to realize that you must get up at the crack of dawn to “reserve” a beach lounge chair. The hotel has the area to provide more chairs/umbrellas but unfortunately does not. Be sure to spend the extra money to get an ocean view room. You won’t regret it! We were also happy that this was a more family oriented area. Bars close at 11 so not too much late partying. Although the last two days we were here a large temporary structure was put up for a wedding. The construction took all night and a lot of the day. The lounge chairs were removed. It was a very elaborate wedding and the guests of the hotel were restricted from the beach. Our peaceful quiet area was transformed! Service and swim up bar did not disappoint! But again the lack of lounge chairs did! Food and restaurants were a huge disappointment! Difficult if not impossible to get a dinner reservation. But we learned after day two that only the Ayami was worthwhile. Just skip the other two and save yourself the reservation stress. Hotel seems under staffed and workers seem overwhelmed. Great service buts lots of unhappy employees. Concierge was very unhelpful with our needs (dinner reservations and making an outgoing phone call). We got a good price to stay here so all in all I am happy.

The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the food was not good. They have different options that I tried and unfortunately none of them hit the spot. Other than that everything else was great, great view from my oceanfront view room, great drinks and beach access. Just know your best bet is to wake up early to grab some chairs whether it’s by the pools or the beach otherwise you’ll have to lay out on your towel and bake in the sun

Muy buen hotel todo incluido para vacacionar, pero sobre todo, quiero agradecer al recepcionista Ivan, que me apoyo mucho en la pedida de mano que le hice a mi novia, donde me reservo una cena romĂĄntica a pie de playa, y mencionar especialmente a la capitana de cocina Elvia y al mesero Miguel que nos atendieron muy bien y estamos muy agradecidos con ellos por las atenciones, de las mejores atenciones que he tenido en cualquier hotel. Muchas gracias Krystal Grand Cancun por una experiencia inolvidable, y claramente volveremos.
