Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I didn't realize how nice this apartment was going to be until I arrived: 700sq.ft. with two baths, a 200sq.ft. private balcony, and washer-dryer... It's a perfect space. The owner is very responsive and the staff are incredibly accommodating. The building also has a beautiful roofdeck with pool.
Playa Tortuga is across the street with beach access, a few restaurants, and the Isla Mujeres ferry. Lazy days are easy to coordinate.
Some tours picked up at the building; however most had me go to one of the hotels across the street (Riu Palace Peninsula is about 800 meters up the road... less than 5 minutes walk). The nightlife is 3 kilometers with a bus stop outside the building and lots of cabs. I personally walked it most days (~30 minutes) and found some local food along the way... but I'm weird like that.
There is a bodega and pharmacy in the building. If you want fresh fruit/grocery, that is 3km up the road.
This is a real find and I highly recommend.
