"This is our first time our family stay at the Hyatt Ziva. And we wish we could've stayed longer because this resort exceed our expectations. The food is extremely delicious!!!! Staffs and butlers are both super friendly and accommodating. Everywhere is very clean (we love that!) we highly recommend this resort to all of our family. Our family is planning to come back to the Hyatt ASAP. Thank you guys and our butlers Oscar & AmĂ©rica. We’ll be back very soon

My wife and I chose this property based on one thing only, the beach! And trust me, you won't be disappointed, this is by far the best beach in all the hotel zone in Cancun, turquoise waters with shades of limitless blue, calm and beautiful water, simply the best. We were surprised with the staff attention and service, is simply warm and comforting, they will go above and beyond to make your stay feel like royalty, our assigned butler "Joel" really made our stay one of the best ever compared to any all inclusive property we had visited before, he was very attentive and helped us a lot enjoying the property and making our stay unforgettable, kudos to him!!!! We choose a room at the turquoise adults only Tower, the room has incredible beach, ocean and pool views from our balcony equipped with a sofa and a Jacuzzi, room was enormous and bathroom and shower were amazing. Hotel entertainment was average, but plenty to do anyways. Food, it was ok for the price range, not amazing, only dinner at the french restaurant was amazing (make sure you arrive early or face a long waiting time to be seated), to bad the menu at this location was limited, we visited twice during our stay but not much to choose from the menu so we repeated some plates, still the experience is rich and food was delicious. All other restaurants were average. Overall, we had such a wonderful vacation here, we will be back again.

Stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved our trip. Staffs were friendly and helpful, view was breathtaking, and facilities were so clean and spacious. Definitely coming back to Ziva next time!

No smoking or vaping or a $500 fine when I have worked in smokey Vegas bars & casinos for 15 years was amazing!!! Horrible scent machines they had in the public bathrooms smelled awful like cheap mens Coolwater cologne, absolutely terrible and super strong actually made me nauseous and gave me headaches. Especially when you are drinking in the hot sun all day smelling that horrible strong scent is awful. Adults only lobby side was the same, some horrible scent machine just a different super strong terrible scent. Not sure I agree with the poor dolphins on property (one had a huge gash in his snout probably from being in such small quarters fighting with other dolphins or pushing overweight customers to earn his food) and the water in tank was filthy. I am all for petting, feeding, taking pictures with any beautiful creatures if they are well cared for but not sure after seeing the injury on one it made me sad especially seeing how loud the music and activities going on right next to their tank was. The Steak restaurant was our favorite attached to the adults only tower, 4 screaming kids seated next to us to ruin our dinner not so much. The entertainment was based around kids. Adult pool uneventful terrible boring music total snoozefest just no kids. Definitely wouldnt return to this particular Hyatt since the resort isnt ALL adults but as far as service, staff, cleanlines, food went .....if it was an Adults Only at the entire resort by Hyatt absolutely!

Everything was excellent. No need reservation for a restaurant and we didn’t wait for our table. Excellent hospitality and this resort made me feel I was a princess. The only thing I didn’t like was a dolphin pool where they kept dolphins for the guests to watch or touch. It broke my heart and I tried to avoid that area. The hotel did everything to make their guests happy and I understand the cute dolphins definitely make many guests with kids happy, but I just felt so sad.

Great place. Clean. Staff is wonderful. Beach is the nicest in Cancun I've seen. Just be aware that "adults only" is only your tower and 3rd floor pool. Anything else is family friendly, meaning restaurants, activities, beach....

This is our 3rd time in Cancun. This hotel is the biggest, got pools for everyone, very close to the beach and the BEST food in Cancun!! Excellent service, everything is clean. Marissa and David were GREAT! Upon arrival the view takes you away. They take you to check in while showing you around. Sparkling wine was tasty. The butler takes you to your room and gives a tour. Everything was free also was given a free bottle of tequila. Did not want to leave and ready to book next trip for longer. Went in December 2023 and the weather was perfect!

This was my 5th stay at this property and up until now, my go to in Cancun. However , I don’t think I’ll be returning for the following reasons: -We were constantly harassed immediately upon arrival by a world of Hyatt time share salesperson trying to set up meetings for us which became extremely annoying. -The food at the property use to be amazing it is now borderline terrible, cheaply put together and very few options left. -The weather was terrible during our first 3 days and most activities were canceled or overbooked. The spa that used to be complimentary for the turquoise residents was now $100 a day unless you were staying 6 days plus , and since were there for “only” 5 days, we didn’t make the cut. I appreciated the fact that our butler and a gentleman named cesar went out of their way to get us a free day at the spa. The staff was friendly and attentive as always but the sleazy sales tactics and the poor food options, along with the poor weather just left a foul taste in my mouth. Disappointing trip at best.

I stayed in the turquoise area with a pool in front of my room and my money was stolen from my room. I got no empathy from the manager who said that no one in the resort steals, he can vouch for every staff in the hotel đŸ€” and there has never been any incidence of theft or anyone missing anything (which i found out was a big lie). I want online later and found out that the same thing had happened to other guests and they got no positive response or solution also. I was planning on doing a big event at this resort and to bring a lot of guests but this managers attitude and response to the theft of my money left a very bad impression. Aside from this, I loved the food, cake shop, coffee shop and the resort grounds. Hyatt Ziva needs to work on how they respond to and resolve customer issues.
