'We had a great time on this property. If you enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and generally spending time in and around fresh water, you are going to like this place. The house is clean and comfortable. AC can come in useful on hot days. The kitchen is well equipped and well stocked. The deck is a strong plus - it is comfortable and has great views. Importantly, the host is absolutely fantastic to deal with.'

'Went in off season - early June for a family trip. Ive stayed in this area before and enjoy how its tuvked away from busy areas. Plenty of beach to explore and scorton creek is steps away. Cottage is big enough and small enough at the same time. We spent most of our time outside though. Every room had AC which we didnt need but would surely come in handy during the peak season. Would 100% stay again. My only complaint is we had to leave......'

'Quaint, clean house. Beautiful backyard that has a nice flat section for sitting and then slopes down to the lake. It was wonderful to have kayaks for afternoon jaunts on the lake after a morning of walking at the Mashpee Town Beach- which is connected to the South Cape Beach State Park. Drawbacks are 1) the property manager never got back to us with a solution to an issue. 2) the neighbor's house is very close and they have a TV on their porch which ruins a quiet evening on the renter's porch.'

'The place is a quaint small two-bedroom cottage. It sleeps 3 comfortably but can sleep a 4th person. Very clean, good air conditioning in each bedroom and living room. A big screen TV with Bose sound system. Excellent for those rainy days if you are stuck inside. It also has a variety of DVD's in the cottage. A nice small back yard with furniture to relax in for that morning coffee or evening cocktail to hopefully catch the cooler night air.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our recent week on the pond! My husband & I were there with our young adult children and their friends. During the week we ranged from 4 - 6 occupants & there was plenty of room for all. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space and all had ceiling fans for those warm nights. Two of the bedrooms have sliders out to the backyard with a beautiful view of the pond! We were able to enjoy a few sunrises by literally rolling...

'This home, the neighborhood, and the hosts provided everything we needed for a beautiful, relaxing, care free weekend on the Cape. The views are stunning, the house is charming, the beach is private and mere steps away, and Janice and Jeff were the easiest to work with. We can't wait to go back for another stay soon - you can't beat those sunsets. Highly recommend trying this place out for yourself!'

'Host responded to all questions in a very timely manner. Answered all questions that were asked. The location was close to Onset Beach but you do need to drive to it. Several places in the area to eat at, close to the Bourne Bridge. Great Ice Crean shop with soft serve and homemade ice cream, great flavors, next to the candy store.. Cash only so be prepared. Sad you have to pay to park at the beach during the month of May when the temps are cool. The house has everything you would need, the...

'My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The gas grill and fire pit was great. Very warm but with also a ton of fresh air coming through the cottage.'

'We've rented this house each summer for the past few years and always love our time here. The neighborhood is great, the beach is perfect with young kids, and there's plenty to do nearby on the cape or in New Bedford. Hope to be back again next summer!'

'Amazing location, directly on the lake. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean, large , quiet lake. Must stay. Small beach front to hang out with dock that works well for fishing or hanging. Right across the street from location are beautiful hiking trails with lots of wild life. Host were very kind and accommodating.'
